Wish you could "spend" more time with your furkid while at work? The Furbo treat-tossing dog camera is a dream come true.
First introduced through the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform, Furbo has gained much attention (and backers) from the pet-loving community. This ingenious contraption combines the peace of mind that an interactive camera offers, with the fun that comes from a simple game of fetch, albeit using treats. Featuring a 720p high-definition camera with a 120 degree wide-angle lens and a four times digital zoom, paw-rents no longer have to squint at pixelated, blurry images on their smartphones while worrying about how Fido is doing alone at home.
Even on days when you have to work overtime, the infrared LED night vision of the camera ensures that clear pictures and videos can be viewed—all done seamlessly through the user-friendly mobile app, available on both the Google Play and Apple App Store. What sets this device apart from other pet cams is its treat-dispensing system. Rather than silently dropping a treat to the floor, the Furbo will pop your pooch's favourite munchies across the room, offering an interactive and playful element to the device.
Additionally, the Furbo also sends push notifications to your smartphone when it senses that Fido is barking, so you can give him a treat or coo to him over the built-in speaker offering crisp, high quality sound.
